Tapada de Coelheiros, the prestigious estate located in the heart of the Alentejo region in Portugal, announces its exclusive 2023 Harvest Program for wine enthusiasts and the curious. This immersive and captivating experience invites visitors to delve into the magic of grape harvest season and discover the art behind winemaking.

From August 17 to September 18, it will be possible to follow and experience all stages of the harvest at Tapada de Coelheiros. The visit begins in the vineyard, and highlights of the 2023 Harvest Program include:

  • Maturation Analysis: Observing and comprehending the various stages of grape ripening, identifying the properties, and determining the optimal levels to initiate grape harvesting. Learn from the experienced team at Tapada de Coelheiros about the subtleties that influence the characteristics of the wine.
  • Jeep Tour: A tour of the estate, where you can observe part of the fauna and flora of Tapada de Coelheiros, as well as some of the methods promoting organic and sustainable agriculture for which the producer is recognized.
  • Cellar Visit: Observe and get to know the “blank canvas” of winemaker Luís Patrão, as well as the secrets that form the basis of wine vinification.
  • Wine Tasting: To conclude and relax, a tasting of 5 wines harmonized with a snack board and typical regional products.

We believe that understanding the origin of things is essential, and with this Harvest program, we will have another opportunity to share with those who visit us the detailed work done in the vineyard and at Tapada in general, and how everything restarts in the cellar every year. This program is priced at €70 per person and is available from August 17 to September 18.
